The Human Fund Releases New Single: “Fuck You”

I reviewed, “Everyone is a Poser Except for Larry the Cucumber” back in December, so I was stoked to see what these noise punks were bringing my way with their subtly named new song “Fuck You”.

“Fuck You” is gnarly as fuck from the feedback beginning to the fuzzed out guitar and that dirty sounding bass. It’s a blast of pure noise punk fury that would easily fit on any SST releases in the 1980s. I can’t help but think of Minor Threat when they sing “I don’t need friends like you, I got better things to do” it’s not a match for the lyrics in “Straight Edge” but the cadance on “I got better things to do” is so on point, I’d be shocked if this wasn’t intentional.

The song borders on grindcore mixed with noise mixed with hardcore punk to make a fucking great song to experience.

This song is going to be out on a cassette tape split with Hippocrisis whose song “Cool!” is a great compliment to “Fuck You”. It has that same gnarly distorted noise punk sound and while the vocals are delivered more subdued they do issue forth their own share of fucks. By the end of this tape any listener should be fresh out of fucks. You can stream the split album, HumanCrisis, here on Spotify or listen to both songs my my Punk Playlist.

I can’t find any info of where you can mail order the cassette or exactly when it’s coming out, so follow both bands on their socials:

The Human Fund: FB, Twitter, Bandcamp, Linktree and IG

Hippocrisis: IG, Bandcamp, FB
