Human Dinosaur Machine Releases New Single: “Goonbox”
“Goonbox” is another fucking killer tune by Human Dinosaur Machine! I fucking loved their last single “Ventilator” and this one is no less of a banger!
Musically this is song fits into that 1990’s era Fat Wreck Chords sounds with super tight as fuck drums and bass overlayed with punk guitar riffs infused with tinges of metal and melodic vocals that are filled with just enough spicy flavor to make you feel the heat.
This song would have been a hit on Tony Hawk videos games back in the day.
The mention of Blink-182 and Taylor Swift hints at their love for pop music that expresses experiences that the larger masses can relate to.
That being said, I doubt either band used the word “cunt” in a song. Yes I know it’s different in Australia than it is here in the puritanical USA, but it’s still not a world that I hear very often, so it add an edge to the song.
