Sorry Sweetheart Releases New Single: “50 First Dates”

I reviewed Sorry Sweetheart’s last single “Sweatpants (Are All That Fit Me Right Now)”, I was stoked to get this new song, “50 First Dates”! The new song opens as pure pop punk song with hooks abound and melodies so smooth they could eliminate the creak in any aging punks knees as they get up and pogo with joy.

Highlights are some of the deep growls followed by the iconic horn playing supported by some heavy ass riffage during the bridge. This was a really nice touch that helped to separate it from other pop punk songs.

This band would have fit in great at Camp Punksylvania this last weekend!

Give them a listen on their Spotify or my Ska Playlist or my Punk Playlist.
