Pink Suits Releases New Single: “Are You Gay Yet?”
I’ve already reviewed “C.O.F.F.E.E.” and “Refuse the Rules” by Pink Suits, so I was stoked to get their new single, “Are You Gay Yet?”.
The song starts slowly with a drum beat using the rims of the drums punctuated by rock riffs and a question of the day: “Are you Gay Yet?” before it kicks into a dope garage rock riff with some great vocal acrobatics in the vocal phrasing. It almost reminds me of something I’d hear if a punk band in the 1980’s was trying to lay down some hip hop bars.
As with their past songs they mix humor, satire, sarcasm and rock attitude to bring us another solid fucking tune to sing and dance along too.
Sooner or later, I’m hoping they get these songs all pressed to vinyl.
