Dynasty Four Releases New Single: “Rome’s Bounty”
From the opening riff this song had me hooked. I love the interplay between the guitar riff and the bassline, and it’s fucking rad the way the song just ends abruptly right as I’m really digging it ‘cause it makes me want to put it on constant repeat to feed my need.

What is the line between folk music and folk punk? Does it matter? Folk often has told stories that are true to life and punk has always been about sharing what you feel to the fullest. So much like I’ve argued that a lot of hip hop is as punk as the most circle pit worthy song, so is so much of recent folk music that fits the punk ethos if not the standardized sound.
Blind Adam & The Federal League Releases New Single: “Cold Dead Hands”
This past July I received a text from my buddy Lou from Albany’s The Lurking Class telling me that I had to go see this band called Blind Adam & The Federal League at this DIY venue in Kingston, NY. Family Man has so much going on. It starts off with as sick bassline with rad synths overlayed with frantic vocal rhythm like someone has had twenty cups of coffee too many—sort of reminds me a little of something I’d hear on a Faith No More song or the rapid fire talking in songs like “Institutionalized” by Suicidal Tendencies.
