Where to start? My first thought when I heard a song from Sickrecy was of Magrudergrind and Assholeparade, but after listening to the full EP, Split with Barren, I realized that there is so much more than grindcore happening here.
Fracture Type Release New Single: “Strafe”
Fracture Type sent me “Strafe” off their new EP Make Your Brain A Better Place To Live and this is some killer shit. It’s got influences from hardcore, metal, early emo and more happening here. In just over 3 minutes there are so many elements happening here, I feel like it’s the periodic table of aggressive music.

Despised Mourning is out with a new EP Hail Nothingness, and I was sent a single, “Narcissist” as a preview, and I’m fucking loving blasting this at 7 am. Great fucking way to start the day.

Musically this is classic death metal with deep in a cave guttural vocals that would probably be dug by fans of 200 Stab Wounds, Sanguisugabogg, Full Of Hell, Mortician and their ilk.
