Gab De La Vega Releases New Album: Life Burns
It’s always great to get sent music that I’m totally unaware of and that I get to listen to without any preconceived ideas of what I’m gonna get. It’s with this mindset that I hit play on the Life Burns, the newest release from Gab De La Vega, and my mind couldn’t have been more pleased.
The Gluts Release New Single: “Cade Giù”
I don’t speak Italian, so I don’t know what The Gluts new song, “Cade Giù,” is about beyond Google telling me it means to “fall down”, but I don’t need to understand the lyrics to enjoy this rad ass track.
Galacticnorcinerator Releases New Single: Scam Armada
It does have a dancey post punk sound that would have easily fit into 1990’s Dischord or K Records.
Broken Gold Release New Single: “Bad Days” ft. Alejandro Escovedo
Broken Gold’s new single “Bad Days” is more garage rock then punk rock, but it’s also awesome as fuck.
Sick Move Releases New Song: “Intrusive Thoughts”
Love this as much as the last two songs I’ve heard!
Gramercy’s Releases New Single: “Ghosts”
Gramercy’s new single, “Ghosts” kicks off with fucking brutal hardcore attack and keeps pounding at you with viscerally screamed vocals, discordant guitar with the drums steadily driving it deeper and deeper into you brain.
Totally Slow Releases New Single: “Future Burns”
I reviewed “Crosshairs” for Totally slow five or six months ago, so I was stoked to get their new single, “Future Burns”! The band continues to combine some of my favorite types of hardcore and punk.

This brutal as fuck metal band from Long Island, Monochromatic Black, has just released a new single “False Kings” off their new release Predacious, and the song fucking rips.

Resting B!tch Face Release New Album: “Sounds Gay, I’m In”
Just the name of the band, Resting B!tch Face, and the name of the album, Sounds Gay, I’m in made me so want to love this. Luckily from the moment I hit play, I was fucking loving every damn second of this album. This protest queercore at it’s best.
Human Dinosaur Machine Releases New Single: “Goonbox”
“Goonbox” is another fucking killer tune by Human Dinosaur Machine! I fucking loved their last single “Ventilator” and this one is no less of a banger!
Toxic Frogs Release New Single: “Lose You Again”
I’ll be honest, I don’t often think of France when I think of Celtic/Irish Punk. I’m enough of a social studies teacher to know that the Irish population in France is not high in comparison to countries where English is the native spoken language. And Yet, here I am jamming the fuck out to “Lose you Again” by the fucking Toxic Frogs from France.
Fault Cognitions Releases New Single: “Sad Sack”
I’m loving “Sad Sack” by Fault Cognitions. Raw pop punk? Is that a thing? If it wasn’t, then it is now! I can’t tell if the rawness is a byproduct of the production or just the way the songs are played, but whichever it is, I dig the fuck out of it
Distorted Waves Relases New Song: “Imprisonment”
Distorted Waves new song, “Imprisonment”, starts more as a mid-tempo reggae tune and then moves about halfway through into a much more fast paced, more ska-ish song
Rocket Steadman Release New Single: “Kitchen Light”
So what do we have here? An eight-piece ska band with dope horn melodies played with punk intensity?
Obsidian’s “Born Trouble” is a Fucking Banger!

Much like my last review of Lemongab, I have no idea what they are singing on “J’te crache dessus'“ since I don’t speak French. What I do know is great fucking punk rock, and this is it. It’s raw and gritty and played the way a band plays when they only person they want to please are themselves.

I reviewed “Divine Comedy” by Buckle a little bit ago, so I was stoked to get this new song, “Clickbait” where they fight the seemingly never ending infestation of assclowns talking shit online.
Busted Radio Release New Album: “Metaphor for Life”
This is punk rock for punk rock fans. No sub genres. It’s not crust punk, it’s not pop punk, it’s not skate punk, it’s not thrash punk, it’s punk that blends the 70’s British punk to the 80’s punk that began to emerge as hardcore. Most of all it’s fucking dope ass fucking good punk.
